Our Story: Kumari Couture - Asian Fashion Designer

'Fashion isn’t something you learn — it’s something you feel.'  

Well, that’s how it all started for me. Hi and welcome, I'm Ranjna, the founder of Kumari Couture.  

Growing up, I found that Asian fashion often lacked style, choice, and personality — and let’s be honest, it frequently came with a hefty price tag as well! As a teenager, I was caught between two cultures; East and West— and as an impressionable young British Asian girl living in England, I had to get creative with fit, fabric, and style.  

Fast forward to today, with over two decades of experience as a fashion designer, I took those same three elements; fit, fabric, and style, determined to make Asian fashion more accessible. I am delighted to bring you Kumari Couture.  

Kumari Couture fills a void in today's Asian clothes — offering designs that are expressive, inclusive, and accessible. We believe that fashion should celebrate every woman, regardless of her shape or size. Our collections are crafted to make you feel confident, bold, and beautiful — because fashion should never be limiting.  

Today, I celebrate East and West with confidence. I hope my concept and collections inspire you to wear your confidence and express your unique personality through Kumari Couture.
